What to Include in a Message

When reporting a bug, including the right details helps CalcTray investigate and resolve the issue faster. A helpful bug report includes:

• The full URL of the calculator page (copy it directly from the browser address bar)
• Explicit reproduction steps: the exact inputs entered, the button clicked, and the result that appeared
• A description of the expected result and how it differs from the actual result

The more detail included, the faster CalcTray can identify what went wrong and fix it. Vague reports like "it gave the wrong answer" are difficult to act on without knowing which inputs were used and what the expected result should have been.

When requesting a new calculator or feature, describe the problem the calculator should solve and any specific formulas or standards it should follow. Context about how the tool would be used helps CalcTray prioritize and design the right solution. If a particular formula or methodology is preferred, linking to a reference source is helpful.
